Engineering planning services were provided for 13 facilities in the State of Maryland as part of long-range master planning activities to develop a vision for implementing programs and strategies, optimizing the use of the facilities, and ensuring optimal care for residents.  The facilities included:

• Thomas P. Finan Center, Cumberland
• Clifton T. Perkins, Jessup
• Regional Institute for Children and Adolescents (RICA), Baltimore
• RICA, Rockville
• Spring Grove Hospital Center, Catonsville
• Springfield Hospital Center, Sykesville
• Upper Shore Medical Health Center, Chestertown
• Brandenburg Center, Cumberland
• Holly Center, Salisbury
• Potomac Center, Hagerstown
• Deer’s Head Hospital Center, Salisbury
• Western Maryland Hospital Center, Hagerstown

Services included conducting building evaluations, infrastructure assessments, and cost models for replacement, consolidation or expansion of facilities.  Recommendations were made for addressing new technologies for building, site and infrastructure design and prioritization of facilities planning.
