LEED Silver renovations and modernizations were completed in these two vital teaching and research facilities, Gilmer Hall with 232,000 gsf and the Chemistry Building with 273,000 gsf, was completed while occupied in two phases to allow for continued use of the buildings. The project was necessary for the University to meet program growth and STEM program needs. Both buildings were constructed in 1968 and house teaching lab functions for the A&S Biology, Psychology and Chemistry Departments. The scope of work included extensive infrastructure upgrades and space renewals. WFT provided plumbing pre-design, design, and construction administration services.
