Glen Dining Hall Renovation

A comprehensive renovation of this dining facility, built in 1983, provides a modern new Glen Marketplace and Micromart featuring six new food stations, flexible pop-up stations equipped with the University’s first touch screen ordering option, spacious dining areas, a kitchen expansion and updated dish washing room. The 21,000 sf facility accommodates larger volumes of diners in an up-to-date, vibrant atmosphere. In addition to interior renovations, the project scope included updating and improving energy efficiency, evaluation and renovation of the building envelope, upgrades/replacements of HVAC, kitchen ventilation, plumbing infrastructure, electrical power distribution and lighting, and fire protection life safety system upgrades. WFT provided plumbing, fire protection, fire alarm design, life safety code analysis, and construction administration services.
