This state-of-the-art academic facility houses Health Professions Departments and units including the School of Nursing, Department of Audiology, Speech-Language Pathology, Health Science, Department of Interprofessional Health Studies, Department of Occupational Therapy and Occupational Science Department, and portions of the Department of Kinesiology. The 240,000 sf facility features flexible learning environments including 19 collaborative classrooms, 10 specialty labs for hands-on learning and 8 speech and audiology research labs, a medical simulation learning center with 6 specialty labs and an acute care multi-patient simulation environment, assembly rooms, a 350-seat auditorium, collaboration zones, offices, conference rooms, study rooms, food services including a café with seating and a grab and go café, lounges, three rooftop gardens, and support spaces.    Designed for LEED Gold certification, WFT provided plumbing, fire protection, fire alarm design, some mechanical design, life safety code analysis, and construction administration services.
