Community College of Baltimore (CCBC), Mathematics & Science Hall
The exciting new LEED SILVER academic facility located on CCBC’s Catonsville campus features research and learning space supporting the College’s STEM program. The project involved renovation/conversion of a library building and the addition of a new wing resulting in a new 99,715 sf state-of-the-art facility with an expansive atrium lobby, 12 flexible laboratories, 6 classrooms, a large lecture hall with fixed seating, a planetarium with seating for 72, faculty suites, study areas and student support space. The building is the most energy efficient on any of CCBC’s campuses and features a vegetative roof. Completed on-time and under budget, WFT Engineering provided plumbing, fire protection, and fire alarm design and construction administration services.
