Children’s National Medical Center Outpatient Clinic

Annapolis, Maryland

Architect: Clockwork
Completed: 2017

WFT Engineering was proud to design the recent Children’s National Medical Center providing increased local access to expert specialty care. The new 10,500 sf West Street Annapolis Outpatient Center provides children’s specialty care ranging from cardiology to urology. Children’s National Medical Center is ranked among the top ten children’s hospitals in the country by U.S. News & World Report.

The build out of a new outpatient clinic for the Children’s National Medical Center involved an approximately 10,000 sf shell space in the Tate Building, a LEED certified Class A office building. The building was fit-out ready and the new clinic occupies one leg of the first floor. The design program included a reception area and waiting room, exam rooms, lab (collection only), an x-ray suite, patient and staff support functions, administrative offices, workstations and support spaces.
