Stanley Bobb Baseball Performance Center

This new climate-controlled year-round practice/training facility for baseball players encompasses 8,500 sf and is located adjacent to the Varsity Sports Team House and Bob “Turtle” Smith Stadium at Shipley Field.  The building is equipped with three pitching lanes and three hitting lanes, a suspended ceiling and operable sports netting cages, and features state-of-the-art performance analytics technology for pitchers and hitters. Spaces also include equipment storage, electrical closets, and wall-mounted displays with data feeds.  The design build project was led by J. Vinton Schaefer, a Quandel Enterprises company.
