Improvements to Arthur W. Perdue Stadium, home to the Delmarva Shorebirds, an MLB affiliated baseball team, included adding a new 9,000 sf indoor performance center connected to an existing concourse structure, a new weight room, renovation of locker rooms, new female staff facilities, new home and visiting team food service spaces and eating areas, a new patio area for group parties, catering events, fan activities, and a kids activities area; new LED field lights and lighting upgrades in parking areas and along the access route to the batting facility; the addition of new lighting to a batting tunnel adjacent to the visitors’ clubhouse; and the relocation of bullpens, new freestanding canopies over the mounds and the home plate areas with new lighting under these canopies.
